No Sound, but no amp ground wire??

Please help if you can. I hooked up my car stereo and everything appears to work but there is no sound. I have read in the forums to make sure my amp ground is hooked up right but my harness doesn't have wires for amp turnon or amp ground. Only two harness wires weren't used : light illumination and power antenna. I don't know if it matters but it's a 99 Dodge Dakota Sport and a Kenwood kcd mp 2032 receiver. I'm stumped -- can you help??

im a little confused... your talking about an amp ground wire, but from what your listing you dont have an amplified system, just simply a head unit... make sure all your connects are good. then if the system turns on, and you still dont have sound, check your speakers, if they worked before switching out your head unit, then mayb its a faulty head unit.
