So i have a Pioneer Deck on my 2001 Mustang.
I am trading in my car, so a buddy brought up an idea.
switch out that stereo for a cheaper one.

The deck i have in there was relatively expensive, and is still in good condition. If he goes and buys a regular/cheap pioneer deck, can we just switch it out? Will it be the same harness?

And does it HAVE to be a Pioneer deck? or can it be any other brand? i bought a harness when i installed the current pioneer.

Please help ASAP. i'm trading in my car today! i need to strip my car's audio after work
