ok im really stuck on this one! im looking for that "extra juice" for my system. i know the capacitor will give off short amounts off energy, but what can the power cell do for me? will it just act like an extra battery giving me that constant flow of energy? or will just sit there acting like it does something? any help on this would be amazing!

As large Class D high current amplifiers have become more affordable per watt . . the need for powercells/AGM batteries has become a must. If your front battery is healthy, simple get an AGM Battery that is capable of supplementing the watts you will be running.
Capacitors can actually be current limiters and create voltage drops when used with high current high power amplifiers that demand more than they are capable of.
Even the smallest AGM battery will be better than more than 100 1.0F caps.
www.xspowerbatteries.com has great tech support to aim you in the right direction.

When deciding on this topic, there is a few things to factor in. It depends on what system you are running and in what vehicle? Is it pulling amps and wanting to kill your car, or are you just looking to create complete power. It can be done many ways. You could upgrade your alternator and run an alternate wire with a 100 amp fuse straight from your starter, and it would work fine. This is mainly done in hi end cars. I could give you more information, if I had complete specs, Year, Make, Model, Engine, System Specs, amp, subs, wires(power, size and other specs). I could then give you the complete listening.
