Hi I just bought a new Dodge Ram and want to install my subwoofer. I have already changed out the head unit, so anyone needs wiring specs I will be more than happy to supply. I have found lots of costume boxes to choose from, but not a lot of suggestions on wiring information.
I am installing an Audiobahn Q12 sub and two Kenwood Class D amps. I need to run a tick batter cable to hook up the amps but I don’t want to drill holes in my new truck. Does anyone have any ideas?

Try an find a grommet in the firewall that is not used or has space and put the power wire through it. If not, you will have to find a spot that doesn't have anything in the way on both sides of firewall. You then need to drill a hole the size of the grommet hole into the firewall slowly as not to damage anything on the other side of the drillbit. Then just install the grommet with a screwdriver, being carefull not to damage the rubber. Install the wire before hooking it up to anything. Hook a fused wire (150 amp) to the battery, but remove fuse, run to amps via distribution block. Run a wire to stereo from amps (power on wire). Be carefull not to put power wire near anything that can chafe the wire. Good luck.

I am installing an amp in my 08 Dodge factory stereo. Does anyone know where to find a wire harness to plug into factory harness or should i just splice into factory for an RCA Converter, and remote power switch.
