closing shop????

I've read in many forums that CA&E was closing shop, is this true? If so what happens with my subscription? Do i get a refund?  

Yes, it is true. Source Interlink Media has officially cancelled the magazine. Not sure what will happend with the subscriber's.  

I just got a postcard that says the subscription would be transferred over to Automobile mag as of the January issue (no Dec issue).  

call subscriber services 1-800-243-6400 to see what other mags they publish, that you can change you remaining subscription to.    

will the web site stay up or is that closing too? Does anyone know of any other serious car audio mags? As far as I knew this was the first and now the last hard core mag for our industry! What now??  

I literally wanted to cry, this mag was what i would look forward to every month.. now i have nothing... well ( i read all other import and car mags ) but this is really sad... Ill never sell or throw away my collection

I've been reading CA&E since way back like 1985 I think... Way back before the trend of ""Pull out Head Units"" started...  

I had every issue untill about a year ago, when I bought a new house and moved... The wife made me dump them, now I wished I woulda kept them...

I don't know of any other Car Audio centered mags out there... Any one else??? Not an import mag that has three pages devoted to neons and spinning grills, but a mag that thats it main focus...

CA&E mag, is what got me started into Car Audio and custom rides and is where I learned a portion of what I know about this great hobby...  

Theyll probably come back. Im never throwing any of my issues im gonna keep them till I die then there to be buried with me
