I just came up on two 15' L7 kickers. Does any body know what kind of amp I should use? What kind of box will make them sound better? I've never had kickers before, but I did have (3) w6 jl in a seal box with a 1000bd1 power fosgate and really like that combination. Are these 15's going to sound similar? Thanks.

a good amp for thoose would be kickers amps probably over 1500 watts and a ground shaker ported box, also these 15's will hit harded than the jl but the jl will hit a lot lower than the kickers, also the sound quality in the jl's are alot better but these 15's have enough power to do some serious damage as long as you get the right amp.

1 big amp will do the trick to run one 15" sub. If it's the sub I'm thinking about it's a 1000w RMS sub. I would buy a 1500.1 class D sub amp. Make sure it's 1 ohm stable, run hefty power and ground cables to it, put the sub in a ported box and watch your car rattle apart.

what about an alpine PDX 1.1000 mono amp you think that would power both or just one of them?
