Hey guys, i'm new here and would like some input on a setup i have sort of decided on. The one part of my setup i'm really not sure about is the Subwoofers (2) and Amp... I was on crutchfield and this is what they recommended.
AMP: Profile AP1200 2-channel (300 Watts RMS x 2 @ 2ohms)
Subwoofers: Kicker CompVT 07CVT102 10" 2ohm, shallow mount 400 watts RMS
The reason they recommended Profile was because i told her that i didn't want to spend more than $200 on a amp for the subs... Can any of you recommend a better Sub,Amp setup for about the $450 that this combo will cost me?
Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Obviously, i want the most "PUNCH" for the cheapest price.

There are many other options out there. The subs aren't bad but the amplifier is a waste of time and money. Try Audioque they're a VERY reputable company with great prices and products. They would be worth your time and money for sure. There's alot of other choices out there but the BEST recommendation I can make is to hold on and WAIT, save your money for a little longer and buy what you really want, You'll be happier in the long run.

I agree with altons suggestion for saving your money to get what you would really want. However the amp is not a waste of time if your not looking for an extreme amount of bass. What really makes the difference in sound is the quality of your speakers.
