I just tried installing a head unit into my 1990 Ford Ecoline van and I had all the wires put in right and still didnt work and when I re wired the old radio back into it it still didnt work What did I do wrong?

Did you connect your antenna? Because if you didn't then do so and see if it works. If so, that means you either have a bad ground on your factory wire or the ground is bad inside the head unit itself. Good luck!
