i have the alpine iva-w505 and i am looking to put a pair of alpine type x SWX-1243D subs behind it. dont really know much about these subs. and dont know what kind of amp i need to push them. i have normaly wired all my systems in 4 ohm but want to try ether 2 or 1 ohm. im looking into alpine amps or the Rockford t30001db. dont really like the price on the rockford but if its the best than that is what i will go with. any help would be app. thanks all

hey guys i have a sony explode XM-ZR1252 800 watt 2 channel. I was just wondering if anybody had an idea for good subs to go with. UUUUMMMM probably 12s and single voice coil. Any ideas?

Those subs are likely to be underpowered by the 505, but good luck.

mtx might be better money too watts ratio as for the xplode amp i would get some old school subs, crossfire would be cool, or just kicker comps due to the wattage of the sony amp.
