First Time Audio System Buyer Needs Help!

Hey.. So i'm drivin a 2001 VW Jetta and i'm lookin to fix it up and get a good audio system in there... The problem is that i know almost nothin about it.. I really just dont know what too buy.. I want somethin thats a good for listenin to hiphop/rap but somethin thats gonna give me a good clean sound but not rattle tha whole car too much ya know lol.. So if somebody could help me out and just inform me what u think i should look into.. Thanks.

your best bet would be to get 2 12in subs and a amp that pushes around 400-500rms. if i was you i would go with mtx or kicker subs and amp.
